This is a short story about summer love. It is based on Cruel Summer by Taylor Swift but I added my own details. Please read this, I really worked hard and it's short so you won't spend too much time reading! Let me know if you like it!

To say Summer 2016 was monumental for Taylor would be a massive understatement. She met the love of her life, feuded with pop culture's biggest power couple, ended two highly publicized romances, dismantled her "squad", and dealt with lots of family drama. It's no wonder so many songs in her discography touch upon these themes. This story focuses on Taylor and Joe's love story but has other plot points. I tried to make it as accurate as possible, referencing song lyrics, things Tay/Joe have said in interviews, and known Taylor sightings. Of course, as this is a fanfic, take everything with a grain of salt- I'm just a swiftie head cannoning lol. Most importantly though, happy reading!!
