I have a lot of names; Caroline, Betty, Victoria, Elizabeth, Jene, Emma, Dahlia, Autumn. It tends to change with the times. Technically, I have no name. I'm an immortal, and kind of one of the first humans on Earth. Soon after I figured out my immortality, I started doing good and helping people. Along the way, I got attached. Too attached. Everyone I love dies eventually while I continue to live on. I guess that's the price of my immortality; my sanity.

It started in 1943. World War II. Another human war where a lot of people die for stupid causes. I guess I shouldn't call it stupid; the mass genocide of an entire race of people is pretty horrible. Anyways, I figured 'Why not help? The humans could use it.'

What I didn't know is that I was in way over my head.
