Matthew 5:1-9
[1]And seeing the multitudes, he went up into a mountain: and when he was set, his disciples came unto him:
At pagkakita sa mga karamihan, ay umahon siya sa bundok: at pagkaupo niya, ay nagsilapit sa kaniya ang kaniyang mga alagad:
[2]And he opened his mouth, and taught them, saying,
At binuka niya ang kaniyang bibig at tinuruan sila, na sinasabi,
[3]Blessed are the poor in spirit: for theirs is the kingdom of heaven.
Mapapalad ang mga mapagpakumbabang-loob: sapagka't kanila ang kaharian ng langit.
[4]Blessed are they that mourn: for they shall be comforted.
Mapapalad ang nangahahapis: sapagka't sila'y aaliwin.
[5]Blessed are the meek: for they shall inherit the earth.
Mapapalad ang maaamo: sapagka't mamanahin nila ang lupa.
[6]Blessed are they which do hunger and thirst after righteousness: for they shall be filled.
Mapapalad ang nangagugutom at nangauuhaw sa katuwiran: sapagka't sila'y bubusugin.
[7]Blessed are the merciful: for they shall obtain mercy.
Mapapalad ang mga mahabagin: sapagka't sila'y kahahabagan.
[8]Blessed are the pure in heart: for they shall see God.
Mapapalad ang mga may malinis na puso: sapagka't makikita nila ang Dios.
[9]Blessed are the peacemakers: for they shall be called the children of God.
Mapapalad ang mga mapagpayapa: sapagka't sila'y tatawaging mga anak ng Dios.
