What do you do when you know the fate of the world is going to rest on the shoulders of a child? Worse. What do you do when you know that child is going to kill you? What do you do when you know that this child fated to save the world, is your very own? You train them of course.

Deep from the past, and mythologies and pantheons of old gods, mixed with Fantasy, Adventure, and Science Fiction. This story takes place in a world much like our own. However, unlike our world, the people are not all the same. There are hybrids. Humans that have feline features, dog features, and other animals. Mice who can talk and play an integral role in the formation of the world around them. Bound to their heroes when they meet, they must travel far and wide wherever their hero goes. But this story isn't about the mouse-kin. No, this story is about the transfer of power from one legacy to another, and the struggles in between.

"Soul mates. Aside from the occasional sappy toast at a wedding or a young girls hopes, most people regard such things as a fairy tale..." How far would you go to claim your destiny? Gabriel began life as an unwanted pregnancy. He wasn't given up for adoption or begrudgingly raised, he was aborted and tossed into a corner of the afterlife none of us will ever see, if we're lucky. That doesn't mean he's going to let that stop him from trying to find his way back to the life he was meant to live. Fighting for the right to survive and learning how to navigate being alive aren't the biggest problems he has to face; there's also a soulmate he intends to claim, a universe he has to travel, and a life he means to take back no matter what he has to do. When is crazy a problem? For Lilly, she's always just assumed she was a bit of a functioning lunatic. What else would you call obsessive (and newly lucid) dreams about a guy you don't even know, a gaping hole in your heart for said guy, and a surety that he's meant to complete you in life? When Lilly finally decides to do something about it, a bevy of supernatural occurrences might just push her over the edge. Not that she'll let that stop her from trying bring the boy she loves home to her... even if it costs both of them their very souls. *** There is some foul language in this story as well as adult themes.
