13 year old Clara Petterson has it rough all over. Her mother died when she was 8, she has an alcoholic father, she is abused, and not to mention she is locked in the basement... OH BUT DONT WORRY!!! She can get out. You see Clara has the brains. She gets them from her mother, but the package came along with some imagination. Clara is known for making up lies, but what are really lies she calls brilliantly stretched stories. No one believes the truth, everyone believes the lies. Well at least that is what Clara has came too. So how do you expect little Clara to get her father caught!! She tells the truth and no one believes her! This is the boy and wolf story to the max. Clara also has been seeing things... Maybe people were right when they said she reminds them of her mother. What happened to her mother? Not even Clara knows nor the police. What will Clara do? She has her suspects, she has her suspicions... And the help of her dead mother...
