Kamellia (Ka-me-lee-uh) and her parents, Emaline and Leviathan are on their way home from a fancy dinner party and they get into a car accident. Kamellia's parents are killed on impact and she is rushed to the hospital, injured. When Kamellia's parents were alive, the abused her, they bruised and broke her. While in the hospital Kami dreams of her parents. She yearns to find out why they treated her the way they did. But now when she dreams of the afterlife, can she finally escape them and be at peace with herself now that they're gone? This story will go from realistic fiction to very fantasy in less than 3.5 which makes sense cause that's usually how fantasy books start off. Requiem is loosely based on my interpretation of the lyrics of Dear Evan Hansen's "Requiem" as well as "Monster" by Meg and Dia having the high key message of abuse.
