When Arix and her friends fool around drunk Arix is put in a very bad situation. When she screams bloody murder she awakes a very dangerous vampire who has been asleep for over five hundred years.
When Arix is happily saved by a policeman she is soon then kidnapped by the Vampire Council. They ask her questions about the awoken vampire and she confused. Who is the man they are talking about?
When finally someone saves her, Xander Mase. He slips that the mystery vampire is her mate.
Arix is brought into a strange world full of weird creatures, will she ever live a normal life again? Will her and her 'mate' ever meet? Will people ever stop hiding things from her?
