Some scars bleed on the outside. Others live under the skin-silent, unseen, and relentless.

I joined the military chasing purpose, honor, and the idea of being a hero. What I found was war-raw and unfiltered. I became a combat medic, responsible for saving lives in a place where death came faster than breath. I saw brothers fall, civilians bleed, and a part of myself I never got back.

This is not a story about glory. It's about survival. It's about the war that follows you home. The one you fight in silence. The one that doesn't end when the shooting stops.

He woke up in a hospital, doesn't know why he's there, doesn't know who he is, doesn't even know how he got there, and he's got a real bad headache. He's got a head wound the size of a baseball, he can't see with his right eye, and no matter how hard he tries, he can't get a straight answer for anything, except that mineshaft workers found him crystalized and immediately flew him to the 'hospital.' Nobody could figure out how long he was in the crystal, and the only thing he could remember was his name. I really hope you enjoy! Like my previous books, I haven't gotten a cover for it but I'm working on it:)

Warnings: -War (shooting/bombs/wounded people etc.) -Amputation/getting shot (blood) -Death (not a main character) -Antisemitism (barely any) -Homophobia (F-slur) *The war (and timeline) is NOT accurate and so aren't another few things. I based it on what I saw and shortened the time
