This is a different kind of story. This story is told from Emma and Harry's POV and includes Larry.
Emma is a young girl from Virginia. She suffers from the chronic illness, POTS. Consciousness vs. unconsciousness, everything was taken away from her the day she was diagnosed. She had always suspected that she was adopted, but she always got turned down when she brought up the topic. What happens when her POTS lands her in the hospital and changes her life forever. What happens when she figures out that everything she's ever known was a lie.

The white lie
Harry worked at a subway station, wasting his life, too scared to follow his dreams. Every Thursday a girl with beautiful blue eyes took the 3.18 train. He always looked forward to seeing her. Maybe one that he would have built up the courage to ask her out? One Thursday a gang of teenagers knocked her off the platform and Harry immediately jumped the rail to rescue her. She hit her head and was unconscious. He followed her to the hospital and told them that he was her fiance. A little white lie could hurt, right? He just wanted to make sure she was okay. But then her whole family came and Harry found himself caught up in his lie. Her family was wonderful and he had been without his for so long. He just wanted to be a part of a family again even if it was just for a short while, at least until the girl woke up from her coma. Then her older brother walked in and yeah, now it would get really complicated. Louis was the most beautiful man he had ever laid eyes on. Loosely based on the movie While you were sleeping. I had this prompt suggested to me years ago. Unfortunately, the person who suggested it got lost in my DM's and I'm sorry about that. If you recognize your suggestion, please contact me so I can give you credit. ♥️ I don't remember much from the suggestion. Just that one of them is a solo artist and touch deprived and the other one is a professional cuddler. I might have twisted it around but I focused on that. Harry always wanted to be an artist and when he finally gets signed to a label it has strings attached. He has to hide his omega status. He's willing to make that sacrifice. His manager Jeff made sure that he was only surrounded by betas and that he used a beta masking spray. Harry was so busy touring he didn't have time for any personal relationships. Finally, the consequences of his choices caught up with him. After waking up one night in excruciating pain and being brought to the hospital the doctor told him that he suffered from a condition called Severe Touch deprivation. Every fiber in his body hurts from the lightest touch. The only thing that could help him now was something called Sensory and Touch Therapy. I didn't feel like I could write the story they wanted me to but I asked them to send me one of the poems. The poem inspired me. ❤ So I suggested another concept of the story and they agreed. All the poems in the story are written by the talented @RANDOM28lol. Harry has lost his voice. He has been mute for years. Ever since his family was brutally murdered in their home. He suffers from PTSD and survivor's guilt. Thinking that not allowing himself to talk somehow honor the death of his family. It's a lonely life. He has no one to talk to. Doctors and therapists have given up on him. He writes poems as a way to express how he feels. He also writes at work. Running the gossip section of The Sun is something he despises but he's a journalist and he needs a job. No one tries to talk to him at work either. It's his own fault. But he hates how they go silent and then whisper about him as he enters the newsroom in the mornings. He keeps to himself. Until the new sports journalist catches his eye. Beautiful. Blue eyes. Wonderful smile. To his surprise, the man knows sign language and he's also determined to talk to him. Life as he knows it changes. It's scary. Will he be able to actually overcome his trauma? @zpanacea sent me this suggestion: Harry is a painter. The time comes when he can't paint because he lost inspiration and can't get himself to paint. When he was trying to paint again, he let his hand do the work. He looked at the finished product of his painting, it shows a lad smiling at him with ocean-blue eyes, and like beckoning him to be with him. When he touches the painting he got sucked in and finds himself in an unfamiliar living room with toys scattered all around (which is the Tomlinson's residence). Alright, I tried to keep to the main idea but I had to make some changes to make the story work. Harry is a painter and after waking up with a dream fresh in his mind he paints the boy in his dream.
