A jumbo jet plummets out of the air and crashes into the ocean with no apparent explanation or warning, no distress calls received from the pilots or any evidence of erratic behavior in the moments leading up to the incident. The NTSB combs the wreckage for the bodies of those aboard as well as clues as to what may have caused the horrible tragedy. A media circus and pressure from the victims’ families leads to a frantic search for answers that hits a fever pitch just as the plane’s black box is found. Unfortunately, instead of helping to solve the daunting mystery the discovery only deepens it as it turns out the device was turned off just moments before the rapid descent.
