In the aftermath of Project Insight, thwarted by Captain America, Black Widow, and Falcon, all secrets hidden by SHIELD and Hydra were revealed, including all the secret projects planned by the latter. One most prominent among them, was their experimentation with the Mind Stone hidden in Loki's scepter. The organization sought to make enhanced individuals infused with the gem's power, two of which would cross paths with the Avengers in 2015, during their mission to uproot Hydra's remaining plots. However, there was a third individual that they would encounter, even before the events of Age of Ultron, who would join them, and become the honorary 7th member of the Avengers.

RavenBlack1832 also did a great job of staying in character for POV of characters that belong to Marvel. The suspense at the end of each chapter is great, you just can't wait to read on and when you do the action and twists are wonderful. Another great job by RavenBlack1832 is that they made sure Alex wasn't stealing other character's lines from the movie, all of them were her own just like her place on the team. The romance was also placed well throughout the story and not built up in certain spots that took over the plot. I am focusing more on the movies and a little on "Agents of Shield." I do not mean to do this entirely, however to further the plot, it was necessary. I hope you can understand. Also, obviously, this does not follow "Infinity Wars" plot because it was written and published before "Infinity Wars" came out. This will written because I was sick and tired of Maria Stark having no backstory and was constantly there to further the plot points of males around her, in the comics and in the movies.
