We know, as we read the book or watch the movies, we know. We can see it. Pain behind those words, shadows on that face, and a longing in those actions. Laurie still loves Jo. Deep down, that wound hasn't healed yet, not completely. Her Teddy had kept holding on, and most of us wish that Jo did too. And soon...both of them had completely let go. Because of that, both were married in the classic novel, but what if we were to change those circumstances? What if their romance was given a chance to grow? How would it be then?
