It's been twenty years since the events of the End Layer. His name is Chorus. Chorus Lee, son of Eternia's Grand Marshal, Edea Lee, and her husband, Alternis Dim. Everyone was just living their lives, trying to make sure they were doing what they could to survive, and the lonely prince of the Eternian Duchy was determined to help. He wanted to become strong enough to help his family, and quickly learned how to fight under the training of Swordmaster Kamiizumi. And after all of the hard work he's put into his future, he never thought what happened would happen. He could barely register what had happened. Was Luxendarc really falling away into nothingness? What happened to my family? Where am I going now?
Thoughts such as these race through the mind of young Chorus as he wakes up in a room he doesn't recognize, looks out the window, and realizes that the place he woke up in is a world of new things that he fails to recognize.
He hears a voice from the door behind him. One he doesn't recognize.
