This is a story about a lot of things.
Things like bluebirds and Harbingers, ukuleles and fancy bicycles, old people, young people, poetry, weed and no-good boyfriends, digging through trashcans, painting, recycling, smoking and drinking, friends and neighbors, parties and Christmas gifts, stolen things and lost things, dancing, terrible singing, guilt, angry people and sad people, but also happy people, nursing homes, a large black dog named Moppy, tree-climbing and ice-skating, smiling, and above all, an old man named Humphrey.

Told from the fresh perspective of nine-year-old Lola Wosey.

This is a stand alone book but also can be read after The Curse Of Fantasy. (Also a cute book if I do say so myself!) These are the same characters and sort of a continuation of the first book but this story is about Manny and Chuck, Simon's friends. I had no intention of writing this book but it sort of happened. Manny quickly became one of my favorite characters who didn't get enough page time and I wanted to see what would happen if I kept writing about him. I wanted to watch him grow with Chuck. This story has a lot of fluff. Just a warning. What else could they have to do with their day! Wink!
