The Rapture

People have prophesized the end of days for centuries. To most, it is known as Armageddon or the rapture. Some believe there is a heaven and hell, some believe in an alternate universe, while others believe in nothing. Many believe the sun and the moon will cease to exist from the sky, bringing on cold and darkness while poison fills the air, killing off all beings that walk the earth. Others believe that there will be a fierce battle here on our planet between good and evil. While we wait for the end of our days, whenever that may come, many of us wonder and question where we go when we die and what will indeed happen if the world one day ceases to exist. Will we witness a great battle as some predict, or simply vanish like dust in the wind? Do we go somewhere great or serve out our eternal existence in complete darkness and brimstone? Is there truly a heaven or a hell? Does God, the creator of the universe, even exist?
