Renza, a timid and anxious girl, volunteers at the Substance Abuse Recovery Center in Manchester, England. There, she meets edgy, unmotivated Andy who is on his way to recover from drug addiction. Together, they might find that Renza's worst fear could actually be her deepest desire and the fact that Andy is perhaps destined to be part of something bigger than himself.

Growing up we tend to become mature with scars on our heart that changes an innocent loving child into an arrogant, suspicious and emotionless character. In order not to get hurt we tend to conceal our heart with an ironclad barrier. But what if we have to learn everything again. A girl with painful past, that turned her antisocial, suffers brain damage in an accident and loses all her memories. She is able to form new memories, so she starts learning again in order to become normal. Thankful to her amnesia she is now more cheerful, more open to people and more lively than she had ever been. In this new journey, she has support of a doctor who actually hit her with his car and made her suffer with amnesia, PTSD, anger issues, nightmares, and many more... With time they come close and as if destined they fall in love with each other. This story tells about the journey of a girl who starts learning from zero and rises to become a star loved by everyone because she applies what she had been taught throughout her learning process. I lost someone dear to me in the midst of the Heroin Epidemic hitting MA in the last 3 years that spurred me to write The A Team. It is a reference to Ed Sheeran's song. This story was my grieving process. Without it, I'd be in a maelstrom of emotions that I wouldn't know what to do with. Also, my favorite band, Fall Out Boy, has a physical copy of this story. I gave it to them this past summer at a Meet & Greet in Mansfield, MA for the Boys of Zummer tour. I'd probably bawl my eyes out if I ever hear that they read it, but I don't want to hold out too much hope. They are my second form of coping with anything, and their music gave me the drive to even write the novella. Here's the description: What does it mean to truly learn to love your life again?
