Astrid Bruckis never thought her life could get any more complicated. Nicknamed the Knife of Kentaurus, she lives day-to-day as an assassin, shedding blood and completing contracts with her second, Lynda.

However, when one contract given to her by royal blood forces her to travel to another planet and pose as a foreign royal ambassador in order to murder their royal family, Astrid's life becomes just that: a complicated game solely determined on her ability to lie. Add the gorgeous and mysterious captain of the royal guard into the mix, and Astrid is in way over her head.

However, on her home planet, another game is being played, one that may cost her her freedom and eventually her life.

Her Amber Eyes: The Failure. (Discontinued.)

17 parts Complete Mature

"You're a Shifter." This caught me off-guard. A Shifter? I had heard of them, thieves and criminals that are able to shift to the Other Realm using shadows. Seventeen-year-old Adaria Feur is extremely confused when she wakes up in a room with no memory of how she got there, no memory of the powers everyone keeps telling her she has, and not a clue of how to survive a prestigious academy that is actually training teens into becoming agents for a secret organization called F.E.A.R. However, the thing that worries her most is the pair of amber eyes she keeps seeing in her dreams. They're so beautiful, familiar, warm... but dangerous. And she knows that they hold her whole world, whether she likes it or not.
