This is a story of a girl named Joanna. Everybody calls her Joey. She lives a life that is worth living. She has six dogs and six cats. She lives with her Mom, Dad, Sisters Jenna and Jackie, and her Brother Bradly. She is fifteen going on sixteen years old. She know this boy named Max. They knew each other since they were three years old. They were best friends. Then one day her life vanished before her eyes. Her sister Jackie moved to college, Her dogs and cats were all dying from old age. And max has a tumor the size of a quarter in his liver. She knows she has feelings for Max but there was one thing wrong. She is afraid of falling in love.
Will Max and Joanna become a couple? Or will she admit her feelings too late.
