The tale that unfolds after Aslan Callenreese collapses in the NY public library; and after the last of the illegal drug "BANANAFISH" is believed to be destroyed. There might be chaos. There might be peace. There might be heart wrenching-moments and butterflies, and tears and smiles holding so many more emotions than can be expressed or understood. This is THE AFTERMATH.
(My headcanon. The one where Ash lives. All the characters mentioned here are unfortunately purely fictional. Some characters belong to the author of the original manga Banana Fish, Akimi Yoshida; while others are the creation of my imagination. The storyline of this fanfiction belongs to me and is based off of the anime Banana Fish.)

A student, a gang leader, and a damaged person are all personalities living inside of Ash Lynx. New York is rough, and he's slowly gotten used to it. But when Eiji Okumura, an innocent exchange student, stumbles into his walk of life, things become messy. Old foes formulate new plans and conspire against the world, and Ash struggles to choose between the life he has, and the life he wants. This is based off of canon Banana Fish, so some events occur as they do in the anime. However, as most things diverge from the original, a butterfly effect takes place. Oh boy here we go. This book might bring back your Banana Fish depression. It's an AU where Ash still gets stabbed by Lao but survives and goes with Eiji to Japan after he recovers. While walking passed an open alley they run into an 11 year old boy running from a group of men. Ash and Eiji stop them and help the kid back to one of their old hideouts and take care of him. They figure out his name was Josh and that he was kidnapped by those men. He got away only after they r@ped him. Upon meeting this broken and traumatized child, Ash feels moved to help Josh and other kids like him. He decides to start a rehabilitation program/home to help kids/teens who were s3xually @bused//@ssaulted and/or raised in @busive homes.Complete
