Maeve Diggory was always quiet. It came naturally. She had to keep her mouth shut before she would say something she would eventually regret. Being the only Slytherin in the family, the dissapointment, was hard. Her brother has always been perfect. He is a Hufflepuff, star of his quidditch team, a co- winner in the triwizard tournament, and is dating the most popular girl in his year. Maeve was different. She was a Slytherin, on the slytherin quidditch team ( like her father would even care) Non social, not the most intelligent when it came to the wizarding arts, and haddent had a boyfriend since she was in kindergarten. She had enough. So one night when a certain red- headed boy pushed her to her limits, she snapped. She had no idea that her life would be full of love, pain, hate and hope from that day on.
This story follows most of the original plot of Harry Potter ( the battle, triwizard...) but the story will not have some major events and deaths.

Maeve, was a quite unique girl. Whoever witnessed her smile or laugh was instantly intoxicated by her presence, and thats what happened to a particular twin who's eyes had been roaming the Great Hall when he laid his sight on a particular Hufflepuff. She grew up learning from a young age that she was a witch. Her parents surrounded her with magic and Magical Creatures. Her grandfather left her dad his studies and animals. Her first pet was a Puffskein, not your average household pet for most, but for her it was just perfect. Except when it stuck its tongue up her nose when she was napping. But none the less, she grew up happy and surrounded with love and magic. She knows that her last name is kind of out there, people stop her parents all the time saying that they respected her grandfather and his findings. She's read his book a bunch of times, but she didn't understand why he was so popular. He was just her nutty gramps who loved the magical beast. But I guess, because he showed the world the amazing finds we have in our world living with us, she could admit he was pretty cool.
