These were the best years of their lives. From boring weekdays in Manchester, through pointless roadtrips in Cornwall, to awkward holidays in Holmes Chapel, they always ended up sleeping in the same bed and said they hated every minute of it. But with every little insult, every meaningless fight, they got closer and closer, until they knew each other inside and out, and what they saw was beautiful, so beautiful they could never let it go.
This is the story of Cora Henwood and Harry Styles, and all their struggles through bickering, friendship and love.

They couldn't be more different if they tried. Louis Tomlinson is 17 years old and in his last year of the most prestigious private school in Doncaster, before then he's off to Uni. He has big plans for his future, and thanks to his parent's money he will have no problem achieving them. Everyone who attends his school knows him thanks to his incredibly rich family, sassy attitude and gorgeous girlfriend, Eleanor Calder. If there's one thing that completely annoys him, it's that there is a community college right across the street from St. Mark's Private School, and he has to look at the poor, totally inappropriate students that go there. Harry Styles is 19 years old, and (once again) in his last year of college. He goes to Doncaster's community college, just because the Holmes Chapel comprehensive expelled him twice in the span of two years, so he and his family had to move to another town. He has no future because he never shows up to classes and if he actually bothers to, he's either high or drunk; sometimes both. His skin is littered with tattoos and if there's one thing he absolutely hates, it's the snobby students attending the private school right across from his, who think they're better than anyone just because their parents have money. When they meet, Louis is nothing but disgusted by the tattooed boy, and Harry can't help but laugh at the innocent yet sassy boy with blue eyes and amazing arse. "Nothing makes you hurt like hurting who you love" Love shouldn't hurt, loving somebody with everything you have shouldn't make you feel like you're dying. Louis feels like he's drowning. He should have known where this was going from the start, he should have been prepared. Now he's waking up in an empty bed, some days he doesn't want to even wake up again. There's a hole in his heart; it's in the shape of Harry. Nothing he does can fill it. Drugs, alcohol, pouring out his heart into songs that Harry probably won't ever hear. When Louis is with him, he feels like he's in heaven. Being alone, that's what he feels he deserves, at least Harry can be happier without him. Maybe if they met at a different time, under different circumstances, he could have saved them. Louis had to do what was best for Harry, but it kills him a little everyday. Louis sees his smile everyday, but he knows it's no longer for him. Someone else makes Harry happier, but Louis wanted it to be him. They could have had forever. Louis would have given Harry everything. "Forget what I said, it's not what I meant" Harry had tried to say, but Louis knew that wasn't the truth.
