Part One:
Y/N is now in her 4th year at Hogwarts, she is as normal as any of the other students... at least that's what she has everyone believing. With Sirius Black on the run everyone is on edge, especially Y/N. As the Year goes on Y/N struggles when her crush on her best friend grows, will she tell him how she feels possibly ruining their friendship, or just keep quiet. Not only does she struggle with normal teenage problems but she begins to feel the sorrow and guilt of her mother's death more than ever, even though it was four years ago. What will she do when the darkness in her life becomes too much, when everyone knows who she really is... what she really is.
I don't own any of the characters or the storyline... they all belong to the wonderful J.K. Rowling, except for Y/n and her back story.

'A Burning Light in the Dark' is a Fred Weasley x OC fanfiction. The story begins at the start of the third Harry Potter book, Prisoner of Azkaban. Runa starts her fifth year at Hogwarts, after a tragic summer. Will the joy of the Weasley twins guide her out of darkness or will she drown in her sorrows? The characters and the storyline belong to J.K., only the new original characters (e.g. Runa Jinxky) are my own. The scenes and storylines that don't appear in the original books were inspired by the Harry Potter universe but are the product of my imagination. The new characters are mine.
