In a world where magic is an illegal substance and necromancy is a first degree offence, five different beings come together to destroy the menacing figure of the infamous Lamaes Ralaste - a serial killing necromancer with a sadistic taste for torture.
The group consists of a vengeful elf girl on the rampage after the supposed death of her beloved twin brother, a drow who despises emotion and feeling despite being a very passionate soul, a Dragon Knight who runs from his responsibilities like a coward, a weretiger who is tormented by her self-inflicted demons, and a vampiress who may or may not be a danger to them all.
Will these severely flawed beings be able to fight their demons and this menace, or will they fail and be a factor in the end of their world as they know it?
