Cerise had one thing on her agenda; to not fall in love. When her first boyfriend left her in the hands of the enemy, and the second almost-boyfriend left her to die, she doesn't know whether to believe if all men are jerks or if she just really isn't girlfriend material.

Throw in the fact that Michael, all around gorgeous Drakhenae is hell-bent on making her his. She can't tell whether he is a gift from God in disguise, or if he's someone else who will break her heart. The fact that he knows exactly what to say and seems to care about no one other than her makes it hard to not fall too deep.

Oh, and not to mention the fact that she is a clone, that a war is going on, and that she is an anomaly with powers from an experiment that every government wants. That should make falling in love impossible, right?
