Having a quirkless child was not what Inko Midoriya wanted so she left her young son to her best friend, Mitsuki Bakugou and her husband, Masaru Bakugou. Izuku's father, Hisashi Midoriya heard what Inko had done and came to Izuku's aid in Japan. He had been in America for years as he had lots of work to do but he still visited any chance he got. Once Hisashi came and got Izuku, he brought him back to America with him. Izuku was very reluctant do so as his best friend, Katsuki Bakugou was staying in Japan.
