Just a short story I wrote for fun the other day as a tribute to one of my favourite things in the world (and I think a lot of you writers out there will agree): sharp pencils. :D Now, the connection between such an ominous title and the mundane writing utensil we know and often don't appreciate enough thou wilt have to find out for thyself. Or don't. You could do either. =) 

Okay, for real though, my intention was to write a story that was as suspenseful as possible even though the main topic is something that one may consider quite unordinary. Enjoy!
