Lily Evans, straight A student, top of her class, virtually invisible in high school. She has one friend, Izzy, and she harbors a crush for non other then the schools bad boy, Daniel Flynn. Of course he doesn't know she exists and not just because he's a year older then her but because she is who she is, she doesn't have a shot. She admires him from a distance, close enough to see his electric green eyes but far enough away so she will not be noticed and that's the way she likes it. However, one day Lily's mom comes home with her new friend, Mrs. Flynn, saying they are opening a bakery. Lily will soon be spending more time then she ever imagined with Daniel Flynn.

Her best-friend is the head cheerleader and she always tries doing things to Lennon to make her more outgoing. then in English class she has to make a story of herself and her partner. Named Parker. Meet Parker. Bad-Boy of the school. Mostly closed out. Has one friend they are pretty close. Most of the girls go after him but very un-cliche. Not the head-cheerleader. He never really knew why because that is usually what happens. As a matter of fact most of the cheerleaders barely look at him. He is very cocky and rude to the girls he does know though. People at her old school saw her as odd and she only had two best friends that were left back in London when she moved. She is forced into a new school being the new girl and hating the people in the school. Everybody seemed to enjoy drama and teasing the new girl relentlessly but she knows how to stand up for herself and she can be more dangerous than they think. Some trauma from home is found and in danger of being told, things that she doesn't really want people to know. You'd think getting through high school would be easy. A certain bad boy who happens to be her neighbor takes a keen interest in her. She's never liked anyone and has had no real interest in any relationship, only her studies that kept her busy. He's smart but acts like he's the greatest and he tries to impress her but she can hardly be impressed by things she can do.
