Her name is Aero.
Her father was born into a family of famous engineers and researchers. He grew up, knowing he was gonna be one as well, but he became fascinated in one area: the paranormal. As he started studying that field, while working on others. He met her mother. As they started dating, he found out she was a ghost. He didn't care and feel even more in love with her. With her powers, she had to ability to have a human form.
They graduated and went into their dream jobs. And then eventually had Aero. It was an at home birth because they weren't sure how it would go. Let's just say, when she came out, she floated for a split second. Which is why her parents named her Aero, meaning flight or air. She was born half ghost.
She grew up knowing she had to hide that part of herself. Though her parents never wanted her think this way, she did....she always felt like the outcast.
One day, when she was 10 years old, her mom was found out and sent back into the ghost zone by some government guys. Luckily they never found out about her family, but a family never forgets. Aero's dad has spent years, trying to figure out how to create a ghost portal and find her mom in the ghost zone. She used to tell them stories about it. Now was their chance. A family in Amity Park had a working ghost portal and her dad was determined to find her mom.

It has been three years since Amity Park first saw ghosts, and now it was uncommon to go a day without an explosion or fight of some kind. Heroes have shown up, the Red Huntress, the GIW, The Fenton's, and Phantom. Danny Fenton used to be an A+ student; he was going to go on to be an astronomer, an astronaut, and live out his dreams of visiting the stars. No one really knows what happened to the bright kid he used to be, but he was now failing practically every class, and if he wasn't sleeping in class, he was missing half of it. No one knows what happened to the bright young star, but they want to. Danny Phantom is the Ghost Prince. After defeating the prior Ghost King, every entity in the Ghost Realm was preparing for his coronation. The day his body turns eighteen years old, he will be the Ghost King. However, they cannot have a halfling as their king, so the only viable option is to kill his human half. Thankfully that has already been written into the coronation process. They just need to collect the ingredients for the potion. Danny Phantom would rather not be king, but he doesn't get a say in the matter. - The title is from the song Dark on Me from Starset. I just thought it was kind of cool. I started writing this a while ago, and I have a few parts already written, but I am going to hold off on posting them because I have a habit of procrastination, so maybe waiting to post for a few days or so will help me actually update it.
