A thief, hacker of vending machines, lowlife merc struggling to pay rent... she wants to be something better, but she relies too much on the city life to escape to the nomads and too empathetic to be a corpo-rat; feeling stuck would be an understatement. Above all, all the people she was ever close with are gone. It wasn't until a violent rockerboy by the name of Johnny Silverhand forces her to make a name for herself before her time runs out.
