After receiving a strange request from a cloaked soldier, two wizards from Crocus have to track down a mysterious dark mage that had been reportedly stealing memories. 

They track the dark Mage to a wizard guild, Sabertooth, once the most powerful guild in all of Fiore. By the time they arrive, the dark Mage has already stolen memories, and they are able to get her to flee before she takes any more. However, compelled with the urge to help the Wizards, the two partners stay behind and temporarily join forces with Sabertooth to hunt down the mysterious Mage.
