Do you know all those times when you're lying awake at night? All those times when your brain just doesn't want to shut up? When your mind just keeps churning and spitting out idea after idea until it hurts? Welcome to my brain during those times.
The Voices Inside My Head is a short story collection with stories ranging from romance to horror. The voices in this collection will all be different- though from your eyes only one person is talking, really, there are many. After all, these stories don't come from me- they come from somewhere in the back of my mind...and don't we all have voices inside our heads?

the void in my head
My head is a void full of ideas that evolve once written down. They are short, sometimes open ended but worth reading them. It's not me identifying with but much rather bringing characters to life with some simple words rowed one after an other. The style changes, develops and I am open to your opinions, don't hesitate to share them with me! I'll work over the stories to correct my bad spelling but it'll take me a while. Pain. Agonizing pain. That's all I feel. Voices. Whispering voices. That's all I hear. I hear them over and over inside of my head. I can't escape. I can't fight back. This is my life. "I stared at her beautiful caramel skin, her glass skin. Even her freckles were smooth and soft. I'm not sure if other people would classify her as beautiful, but her large blueish gray eyes, the ones that held such intelligent and innocence and serenity, that is was impossible for me not to be held prisoner by them. Her cheekbones weren't high and defined, and her nose was a little too small to be considered perfect to other guys. However, her glorious features kept me captivated. Her lips weren't as I imagined them to be. I expected her to come with makeup on, maybe a little lip gloss, but they were coated with lip balm. I could smell it from here, the sweet scent of mango. She wore her natural hair, or at least I thought it was, and it was pulled into a high messy bun. There were curly baby hairs around her whole head. She wore diamond earrings. I expected her to be dressed up, since that's normally how I perceived girls to be, but she dressed comfortably. She wore a forest green sweatshirt, black tights, and brown Uggs. She might've been kinda creeped out by the way I was looking at her, but she was just so beautiful. She was my world."Concluida
