Adeline Wood just wants to graduate and move away from the men that claim to be her family after being in the foster system her whole life. But when she starts school, not only do two girls immediately latch onto her, becoming her friends, but she seems to have an odd connection with a certain boy. She hated how curious he made her. She hated how easily she melted around him. She hated how addicted she quickly became to his voice, his touch, and his smell. She loved the way she seemed to have the same effect on him. When her friends devise a plan for her to figure out why he pushed everyone away their freshman year, she finds herself growing closer to the boy than she ever planned to. And a large part of her didn't mind. What happens when she gets an unexpected answer, and is thrown into a world she never could have thought existed? What happens when she realizes things she thought she knew are flipped, and everything changes? What happens when her past from before her brothers comes back to haunt her? And, most importantly, can Cole Thompson save his mate from her past? WARNING: Abuse. Swearing(alot of it).
