Hard to, when both your parents were Death Eaters lying cold in the ground, and your godfather-brilliant, reckless Sirius Black-had cared only in brief flashes before getting himself thrown behind bars.

That left Remus Lupin, the ever-gentle werewolf, as the only one willing to raise her. And for all his patience, even he couldn't quite tame the storm that was Delphi.
