a ghost and a girl fall in love
despite their circumstances

"Who are you? How'd you get in here? What do you want?" I ask, panicking. The boys turn around to see who I am talking to.

"Is she talking to us?" the one in the middle asks the others.

"Who else would I be talking to?" I ask, still slightly panicking.

"She can see us." the one on the left whispers. He seems shocked.

"You can see us?" the middle one again inquires.

"Well why wouldn't I be able to?"

"We're ghosts," the blonde on the right says.

"Very funn-" I cut myself off with the realization that Julie said she saw ghosts in here yesterday.

"What? We're not joking." The middle one is apparently very vocal.

"Julie says she saw ghosts in here yesterday..." I whisper to myself in an effort to try and calm down.

"Yeah! We're Julie's friend!" the one on the left exclaims.

"Here if it makes you feel better, and if it helps convince you," the middle one says as he reaches out to me and 𝑡𝑜𝑢𝑐ℎ𝑒𝑠 me.
