This was my English assignment.

So yeah...
Based in a realm above the human realm, so basically Heaven but the realm has a lot more locations than just Heaven/Elysium.
The assignment was to write a story which included the phrase "she was surprised to see that the key didn't fit".
The characters are Lynn (11 years old), Amy (9 years old), and Maya (19 years old). Lynn and Amy are obviously still in school, and Maya is one of the younger people to have gained Guardian status.
