Y/n has had a hard life since her dad left and her mother is always working to provide for their small family. She is bullied at school and is often alone. That is until her childhood friend Jack Avery begins going to her school. Unsure of whether or not he will remember her and scared of being rejected by yet another peer, y/n decides to keep her distance and let him live his life happily, in other words, without her in it.
