Heidi had just graduated high school and was going to the same college as boyfriend. No more nagging parents, no more small town living, and no more strict school rules to follow. 300 miles away was freedom and the start of a new life. It seems so perfect right? Maybe that's why it all disappeared, because nothing in this world can ever be perfect. And Heidi could never be perfect, not after she realized who she was.
Having to give up everything she knew to take on another life, a life she never wished for, Heidi goes down a new path. A path that could only be describes as monstrous. She goes as a hunter, not knowing of the dangers that lay ahead or the new friendships that blossom along the way like roses in a thorny bush. She goes alone.

I am a reader of crime novels and hard science fiction almost exclusively, and yet this story, which I have been writing for a long time, is a love story, I can't explain it even to myself. The characters will have to work through hardship and evolve to be able to surrender to the magical things around them and the flow of the universe and the love of other people. This story still is a work in progress, it has holes and it is to be continued
