During the Chicago War, Sentinal Prime had a way to turn humans into Cybertronians and used Kennedy as a test subject. Since Cybertronians were scarce, the Decepticons wanted human females to be turned so they could continue the bloodline. Starting with Optimus Prime's weakness. Optimus didn't want Kennedy to be forced into becoming a Cybertronian, he wanted her to make that choice. Four years pass and Kennedy is feeling guiltier by the day for not telling her brother what happened while she was in Chicago. Four years have passed since she has seen her husband.
