It started off from one ember being lit. A candle's flickering flame, a disturbance to the shroud of ignorance. And this is the result. Chaos. Ray's always loved locking up in his room, reading hundreds of books until he falls asleep. He's always had a happy life. Perfect education, good grades, a loving family; I got everything I needed and wanted. Until one day, my mom went out to get some groceries. It was normal for her to, so I just ignored it and started reading in my room, as usual. I stayed up late reading an adult's dictionary. It was quite weird after she didn't get home after 2:58 in the morning, since she would normally return before that time. I decided to ignore it, and went back to reading my book. It was already four o'clock. I was about to close my eyes and finally sleep, but then I heard the creaking of the front door. I swiftly stood up and walked downstairs, heading to the front door. I see mama with the groceries, but she was covered in some liquid substance. What was my life descends into chaos.

How will everything else descend? To insanity, or to joy?
