Peyton Costa, guitarist of Years of the Beginning, is an outgoing young woman. She tries to help people whenever she can. And her fans mean the world to her. Hurting one of them means hurting her too.

During Warped Tour, Peyton meets an interesting person by the name of Alan Ashby. Whom she doesn't think of as the guitarist for Of Mice & Men, but as a human being with feelings that just wants to be treated normal for once.
