Four "freaks" under constant experimentation, interrogation, exploitation, and sometimes even manipulation just to see how far they can be pushed and to learn more about them in extremely cruel ways. One though doesn't agree with what is happening and tries to help them escape even if it means putting her own life at risk along with the Multiverse being exposed.
