Bound By The Thorns is a collection of 15 free verse poems written by yours truly. Inspired by anything and everything around me, I let the words flow. Each poem has meaning, a story behind it. Not all of these are poems based on love, however, as there are poems that convey pain, a sense of no self worth, a trapped feeling with more to come.

The average human being spends every second of his day fighting against the force of nature to see another day. But I'm different. I'm not afraid of outside forces to take my life away - only myself. Love...... The word tasted weird on my tongue Love makes a person stupid. Believe me when I say Love is blind, because I've been there before ***** "I don't know what I'll do without you. I love you so much" "Same" ***** I fell in love with a certain guy and I let my world revolve around him, only to find out I was being played by my husband and someone I considered to be my sister and closest friend It felt like the end of the world to me I felt betrayed and stupid. I was always oblivious to the things happening around me. My whole life has been rosy, happy and stress-free.
