NO.198276 is a novel about a new species of animals that is said to of existed, abilities given to them and special features. Humans and animals never get along after humans started using the animals for power and sell them for riches, and even killing them.
Nowadays many animals are taken into care for experiments to understand more about them, but they are also bringing the worst possible side out of them turning them into rabid animals that show no signs of mercy.

(not my art! found it off of google lol. whoever's art this is, it's amazing!) Grian is part vampire. Scar is a vex, and when bitten, they must bite back, to create a mate bond with the other. Well, the avian/vampire ran out of blood, and was starving. He lost control, biting Scar. Which sent Scar into his mating instincts, so the vex bites him back. They now have to figure what to do now that they were unintentionally mated to each other for the next year and had somehow fallen in love in the short weeks they had known each other. WARNING!!: there are talks and mentions of abuse and self harm, as well as suicidal thoughts and actions. VIEWER DESECRATION IS ADVISED!(Btw if i missed a warning on here thats on me but if i do end up doing something too graphic i will put a disclaimer at the top of the chapter if i remember)

Grian was getting used to the safety of the Hermitcraft server quite well. He still had bad days in which all the memories of his high school life came back to him and ate away at his mind. However, he also had good days, when he could spend time with his friends and live happily, normally. But it turns out, running has consequences. OR Samgladiator joined the game A YHS/Hermicraft fanfic, involves very mild Grumbo shipping but you can read it as purely platonic if that's what you want. Vexes and Watchers have always gone hand in hand-though not in harmony. The prevailing legend among the players tells of a twisted bond: Vexes, once majestic creatures of the in-between, reduced to little more than violent, shimmering wraiths-pets, tools, weapons-kept on a short leash by the Watchers. Most say it's abuse cloaked in obedience. Others say it's the only language these winged terrors understand. So, when a newly ascended young Watcher is given two Vexes-his first real assignment-he braces himself. He expects snarling, snapping, eyes glowing with fury and betrayal. He's read the files. Heard the tales from seasoned Watchers who boast about broken wings and conquered spirits. He's even seen footage of rogue Vexes ripping through entire bases in bloodlust. But what he gets... is different. They're small. Smaller than expected. One clings to the corner of the room, wings drooping like torn silk, eyes flickering with dim, uncertain light. The other keeps low to the ground, trembling any time the Watcher so much as breathes too sharply. Neither of them meets his gaze. Neither of them hisses, or screams, or attacks. They're kind. Starry eyes sparking up my darkest night (Scar x Grian)
Grian knew a lot of things. He knew how to cook for a crew of 60 people. He knew how to clean and scrub the deck until his arms went numb. He knew how to avoid being the crew's punching bag for the night. He knew when to shut up and do what he was told. But most importantly - he knew not to hope. Because hoping hurts. So when a battle ends and an unfamiliar man steps into the kitchen, grinning at him like he's not just another piece of plunder, Grian doesn't know how to react. The year is 2086. Avians and humans have walked the earth (mostly) in peace since the dawn of time. The world has been altered to assure both species can live safely amongst each other. This includes specific laws that were made for Avians. However, not everyone agrees with what has been put into place. And as time passes, Avians and humans are often found fighting rather than getting along. This is causing a power imbalance that makes humans believe they could be in potential danger. A wall is breaking; cracks are spreading fast. It's not long until it crumbles. Avians are human-like creatures that are born with wings on their backs. They often resemble different species of birds. Avians are often viewed as threats. Due to their ability to fly. Amongst other things. More info will be provided in the prologue.
