What they didn't know was that Izuku is intersexual, a rare medical condition in which someone is born with both sides of the reproductive system. His boyfriends had impregnated him; he'd been depressed and suicidal for years, and his mother, his only family, had died several years prior. His trauma and depression caused him to be scared enough to do the thing that hurt him most- cutting off those he cares about. All of them... or not. He's been a part of a small, secret friend group since about a month after the first year began. Izuku Midoriya, Denki Kaminari, and Minoru Mineta made up the Depressed Trio or DT.
