Ash, Eiji, Shorter, Sing, Ibe, Max, Blanca, Yut-Lung, Skip, and Golzine suddenly appear somewhere completely unfamiliar and meet a strange boy named Niko.
Niko is a 'normal' teenager in the era of Covid and 2020. Doing his online classes and trying not to get sick; until a group of familiar people appear. Niko's parents are traveling and even didn't return during COVID allowing them to stay at his house until they find a way to return home. While this is happening he tries to keep a huge secret from his new found friends, what will happen when they do find out?
(Yes Shorter and Skip and everyone is still alive)

But when Eiji Okumura, an innocent exchange student, stumbles into his walk of life, things become messy. Old foes formulate new plans and conspire against the world, and Ash struggles to choose between the life he has, and the life he wants. This is based off of canon Banana Fish, so some events occur as they do in the anime. However, as most things diverge from the original, a butterfly effect takes place.
