“These lungs have sung this song for to long!
And its true, I hurt too! Remember, I loved you!”

“I waited for you, you know.” I whisper in his ear. “I don’t blame you for not waiting for me, but I waited for you.”
I didn’t look at his face to see what his expression was, but I prepared myself for his rejection, for him to push me away.

I used to live in L.A.
I used to walk the streets that were crawling with pimps and thugs.
It was a very difficult life for a young woman like me. Four of the girls I grew up with were raped before we even had our junior prom. But growing up, I had pretty good protection: My older brother Jordon, and his five friends.
But life got pretty boring. I was bored of living there, and bored of the people.
For reasons I don’t want to explain right now, I left.
Ran away.
That was two years ago.
Now I’m going back.
Back to the druggie infested streets.
Back to my family.
And back to George.

That is, if they’ll take me back.

Welcome to the complicated life of Kamryn Terrell.
