Pearl was not expecting to go save the ocean. She never expected that a living potion bottle would be dumped into the water, turning microplastics (really small plastics in the water) to come alive. She never expected that she had to join forces with 6 other turtles to stop the microplastics from taking over the ocean.
She had expected to enter the Smarty-Turtle-Of-the-Year contest and hopefully win. However, loosing the contest is now the least of her worries as she and the other six turtles find themselves confronting dangerous traps during their journey.
