Our main character Ali struggles with her sexuality, and after figuring out she is Lesbian she falls in love with a girl named Alex which her mom does not approve of and says is a sin. She struggles with her religion and knowing where she will go after she dies with her mom telling her she'll go to hell but her believing she'll go to heaven she struggles deciding what will happen to her after she dies. She has several problems with her relationship with her mother as well as Alex and we take you all for the ride from Ali's perspective!
