"Don't do it, Frankie." A boy sat before her, brown haired, green eyed, and freckled. "They'll throw you in the maze, or they'll kill you! They might even inject you with the virus."
"I'm sorry, Charlie." The girl sighed, her appearance matching him almost identically. "I can't watch them keep killing our friends. I wish you would just do it with me. We could save them all."
"I've been trying to keep us safe! What don't you understand? We're protected here."
"Thomas is doing this with me. I can't understand why you and Teresa are so adamant about helping WICKED. They're evil, can't you see that?"
"WICKED is good, Frankie."

Frankie had tunnel vision. All she wanted to do was save her friends. She teams up with Thomas, both betraying WICKED and being sent into the mazes.
They didn't realize the trials and tribulations they'd have to go through once they arrived without their memories.

But every time she is in the maze, she needs to be fast, because the doors to the maze is closing at dark and they first open the next morning and she have heard that no one has survive a night in the maze, because some creatures live in the maze and they are only coming out when it is dark. After months in the Glade, and after watching many of her friends die in front of her, Sara is about to lose hope, but then a boy name Thomas come up from the box, and together with Minho they are trying to find a way out of the maze, but one of the boys in the Glade don't like they are trying to find a way out.
