Six months into their Turkish affair, Jack and Liam, a gay couple from London, took lodgings in the oldest ward of Bodrum Town. If they wanted to shy away from the curtain-twitchers, they couldn't have chosen a worse position. Their terrace overlooked Turkey Street like the balcony of Buckingham Palace and the middle-aged infidels stuck out like a couple of drunks at a temperance meeting. Against all the odds, the boys from the Smoke were welcomed into the fold by a feisty mix of eccentric locals and a select group of trailblazing expats, irresistible ladies with racy pasts and plucky presents.

Hop aboard Jack's rainbow gulet as he navigates the choppy waters of a town on the march and a national resurgence not seen since Suleiman the Magnificent was at the gates of Vienna. Grab your deckchair for a whirlwind tour of love and duty, passion and betrayal, broken hearts and broken bones, dirty politics and the dawn of a new Ottoman era.

15 parts Complete Mature
James Bird was the quintessential football captain of his high school team. Nicknamed Jack, or Captain Jack Sparrow by his team mates and his friends (who were all also his teammates), he was taller than the other boys, better looking the the other boys, and more muscly due to his intense training regime with two professional NRL players whom played on the city team football club he was already slotted to join next year. All the girls from all the local school wanted him. Of course... now everyone (in school) has heard the rumour that Captain Jack was living with one of those NRL players - his parents had kicked him out, but no one knew why... was he a bad boy underneath that sexy exterior? And he was always strangely touchy with that other NRL player; Josh Charlatan his name was. Other students used to see them together all the time outside school and occasionally when Josh would pick him up for a workout session after the shool day. It was enough to get the rumour mill turning around academia. What was the go here? Suddenly Jack was getting a lot more attention from other boys... Josh Charlatan wasn't his first sexual partner, but definitely his first all male relationship. The more the rumour spread that Captain Jack might be gay, the more high school girls could be heard sobbing into their pillows, and the more high school boys heard jerking off in the locker room. WARNING: this is a mature rated story. If you've read my other stuff you already know this about me. I'm not going to give you anymore sexual or LGBT+ warnings. It is what it is, read it or not. ***Trigger Warning*** book contains a sexual assault scene. I won't say more about it. It is towards the end of the book. 10 years. 10 years of hating Griffin Taylor. Luckily for me, he lives hundreds of miles away and I very rarely have to handle the knowledge he's in town for his 48 hour visits. Some supposed best friend he turned out to be. Mum and dad would have screamed at him for hours for missing the things he did. Though, Griffin Taylor never did care about other people's feelings. I always thought I wasn't apart of that rule. That I was different to him. His best friend. His rock. No call. No text, no message through his mum or his brother. Nothing. Mine and Piper's world collapsed from under us. Total strangers on the outskirts of town showed their love and support. But Griffin? He showed up 18 months later with barely a word before taking another life altering phone call. Ass. Now, 6 years after I last had the pleasure of being in his almighty presence, Piper made the overwhelming, stupid decision to invite him to her wedding. It's fine. He'll be here for his usual 48 hours and I'll find a million things to keep me out of his way so I'll barely see him. It's fine. Not a problem. I can handle it. Piper wants him here, Piper wants her family here and I guess, with no one else, the Taylor's are family. For Piper I'll keep my thoughts to myself, I'll smile and I'll be the good Christian I am. But as far as I care, Griffin Taylor can rot. In. Hell.
